Novelty Treats: Personas

Let's step away from celebrities and random detritus for a quick second and look at something that's sort of awesome. Personas is an online art installation by Aaron Zinman that's part of the MIT Museum's Metropath(ologies) exhibit. Basically, you enter your full name and it builds a nifty and elaborate color bar graph that collects information from Google results involving you (or folks with your name) that visually represents your internet persona. It's rather amazing to watch it rapid filter, and i sense that if you've got an uncommon name its results will probably be pretty accurate. If you don't, however, you'll get an interesting blend of your moniker twins worldwide. Try it out.
