Another One Bites the Dust...

Print media continues its slow decline as Alpha Media Group announced today that the April issue will be the last for music magazine Blender. For Alpha Media, this means laying off about 30 people and integrating others into what is now the company's sole interest: Maxim.

Blender was known for its definitive lists, provocative celebrity cover shots (Kelly Clarkson not included), and being the first magazine released in a digital CD-Rom format in the mid-90's. This year would mark the 10th anniversary of Blender's print version.
